Power of the Resurrection!!

Kingdom Warriors & Overcomers

Today is Good Friday, Rewind 2000 years ago around this time (Knowing the dates may not  be exact) but around this period in history, the Innocent Lamb of God was slain for the sins of the world that you and I may have eternal life (John 3:16)

As we reflect on the amazing sacrifice, Contemplate if you will, He who left the Splendour of Heaven, who chose to leave the Father, when all this time he was in perfect union with Love Himself, to leave His Father’s side, where all he knew was Love, to enter in to our universe, from eternity into time, where he was born of the Virgin Mary, born into a fallen world, a world full of hate and sin.

Luke 2;52,
And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man,

Jesus, though he was the Son of God, he was tempted in every way that we are, he was just as vulnerable as we are when he was tempted to sin, yet he didn’t and he resisted, even when he was mocked by the crowd as they yelled “Crucify Him! Crucify Him! demanding the release of a murderer as was the custom.

As he was whipped with the cords pulling his flesh, and with the crown of thorns piercing into his head, he had every opportunity to call on the Angel Armies of Heaven to wipe out those who were involved in crucifying him, yet it was Love that stopped him, How hard it was for the Heavenly Father to turn his back on his only begotten son as Jesus became the sacrifice for our sins, the Lamb of God, How hard for Jesus to lose that communion with his Father,  But knowing that in just a little while he will be reunited with His Father in Heaven, reunited with Love Himself, (Hebrews 12:2) For the Joy that was set before him, he endured the cross.

Jesus Knowing that he can trust His Father to Resurrect His Body,  and not to allow him to be defeated, This Resurrection is our Hope, Your circumstances and the dark storms in your life are about to be defeated as the Glory of His Resurrection is coming, just as Jesus did look to the joy set before you.
